  1. PS 153 PTA President, Ms.Patricia Padilla, was accused of false allegations, arrested and issued an order of protection to bar her from entering the school building,
a few months after this protest.

  2. My experience with that school was awful. Principal Bailey is not that smart, and she thinks that everybody if after her position. She follows you around, she is loud, and very defensive. She attacks like a furious animal. Principal Bailey have a very nasty sexual past.

  3. Parents are not welcome in the school unless it’s to bring food or for some photo op so the administration can falsely show how welcoming they are. Don’t bother to ask questions because you get the run-around or no answer at all. The administration is more concerned about appearances of success than about truly educating the children. This is most evident during quality review time when they are abuzz re-doing bulletin boards with inauthentic “children’s” work. This is not a well-developed school just a well-developed smoke&mirrors show. The G&T program is an absolute farce. RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE if your child is offered a seat in this program and/or school. The few special ed parents I met needed to get attorneys or advocates or both to secure services or better school for their children.

    • This is very unfortunate. Sharing your comment.

      • Teachers are harrassed and bullied. Their bulletin boards and rooms torn apart with no reasons. They are threatened with poor ratings if they speak out about the issues. Students are yelled at and mistreated by adminstrators if behavior is brought to their attention. Parents need to be the voice. Get together and demand a change! It’s the children that suffer in the end because none of these teachers will stay and these children cannot learn under these conditions

  4. Too many chefs in this school and no knows what the other is doing!!! They don’t teach very well especially if you have a child in special education. They’re not really parent friendly they just do the bare essentials to get them by. This school really needs a over haul better administration and better teachers. This school has always had problems and to this date has gotten worst in my opinion. I would not recommend this school to anyone I know.
