My principal discontinued me after I stood up for myself and started avoiding her. She orchestrated my discontinuance and am not the only teacher unfairly discontinued. She is a highly corrupt, racist, abusive , rude and totally unprofessional principal . She is the principal of I. S. 218 – Salome Urena in district 6, Manhattan. Her name is June A Barnett. With over 48 allegations against her as per OSI, she is still Principal. I intend to fight this Principal in court and media,but I need more help!
This is related to the same teacher under June A Barnett’s supervision. She fabricated comments and ratings that were untrue out of her desire to do away with me because I avoided her after I saw how unjust she was.after I concluded as a teacher you cannot have an opinion different than the Principal’s or you are out. She asks other teachers and students to write statements against teachers and I was asked to write one against a teacher but because I recanted it, that is another reason for her to want to do away with me. She is highly corrupt, and abusive toward her staff .she gives Effective to teachers that are doing what she is asking them to including writing against their colleagues even if these teachers don’t deserve these grades and fabricates lies to reason unfair Imeffective ratings given to hardworking , dedicated teachers. Although I was given Satisfactory ratings my first years there , once I stood up for myself DNS for justice , I was done! I was blacklisted. I can never teach again . Am waiting for the response to my Discontinuance appeal but have a lawsuit pending as well . This has to stop! Principals should not be given the power to destroy a teacher’s career , being the only ones to observe teachers without being held accountable in every detail of their evaluations is not right! UFT must do something to stop abusive Principals from doing away with great teachers only because they personally dislike these pedagogues!

I was put on probation by Jacqueline Rosado, the principal, effective 3/25/14 to 3/25/15. Three (3) months later June 2014 I received a letter of discontinuance from Lillian Druck the superintendent of District 32.
In her letter Lillian Druck stated that the “reasons attached” explained her decision. There were no attachments, and I promptly wrote back to ask that she sends them to me so I can build my rebuttal. I am still waiting for an answer…
